If the feature photo for this post had you thinking it would cover yet another trend from The 90s, SURPRISE! YOU’RE WRONG. Just kidding, you’re actually really right. If we’ve worn chokers, shell toes, mom jeans, etc. it’s about time we get into spaghetti straps and t-shirts. Sure, this unbeatable combo flourished in the latter half of the decade and on into the early 2000s, but ah what a time for it to be alive again! Instead of layering my baby tee with a classic tank top, I chose to cover mine with a slinky silk romper. And instead of pairing it with backless keds (as I did in 2001), I chose to slip into some backless loafers (so 2016, am I right!?). As a final homage to my brace-face, puka shell-wearing self, I put on an anklet and threw my hair in a shaggy ponytail. However, to keep things interesting I tied a bandana to my bag and fastened some gold hoops with red tassels to my ears. If you too want to dress like an antique shopkeeper stuck in the 90s, shop the look below! XX – K
